Sarcasm

Sounds good. I assume this tune is just for the idling sound at shows, cars and coffee, etc) Does it do anything power wise?

@mejohn50 has also done on-the-fly ghost cam tuning.
Here’s one I recently did to my car. It’s switched with PCMTEC custom OS, I just didn’t show switching it in the video since I was still working to smooth out the transition from normal to chop. This is with a really mild overlap setting and it could be made to be more aggressive, but this had a nice chop to it that’ll give an LS with a cam a run for its money.

This is on an NA car, but I’ve had similar results when my car had a Whipple on it and it’d be easy to port this over to a Roush car.

This is from dyno testing. Roush 2650 ported by Joker. Stock 6 rib. 2.7 pulleys makes more boost than a 2.5.

Great numbers! What's iat2 looking like at the end of a pull?

Im kind of shocked the porting provided that much efficiency gain. Wouldn't expect that from the manufacturers these days

My goal was to test the Roush 2650 on the dyno with a few different pulleys. My findings are. Unported with the stock 87mm TB and a 2.7 pulley. Car made around 790whp and would not make more than 13lbs of boost. Boost curve shows a boost drop. With the Blower ported and a 103MM TB and a 2.5 pulley car made 16lbs Boost and around 885WHP. After some research and speaking to @engineermike belt slip was suspected. After installing the 2.7 pulley on the ported 103MM TB set up we gained 1 psi Boost and the car made around 930WHP. Also thanks to Ray @DRP Motorsports for the tune! Ray has great customer service. If you want a true custom tune reach out to Ray.

I now believe the smaller pulley (2.5) wasn't slipping. I believe the 2.5 pulley was over spinning and making the blower less efficient. The IAT2 with the 2.7 pulley are 10-15 degrees cooler at all points. With the 2.5 pulley I would see 87* while driving. Now I'm seeing 75-78* driving. Side note looks like car made 940RWHP at 7650 before the Dyno spiked.

Minor update. Got tired of the constant CEL's after a new engine was put in by FORD. Thought it was cats failing again but it was a PITA to diagnose WTF was going on with the inconsistent error codes. Dealer loaded Roush tune back on and that was a bad idea. Now that I know aftermarket tuners lock their tunes, it explains why the dealer needed to flash the car back to Ford stock.. Not Roush, FORD... Roush didn't know the ORIGINAL TUNE STRATEGY.. I didn't know they needed it.

Afterwards, the error codes ranged from the AE valves not working right to Wastegate failed open or closed or just asinine codes about torque tables, etc. I thought it was the wiring harness from the header install but it didn't give any of those on the aftermarket tune but still had some weird symptoms that I wasn't fixing in my driveway or taking to a dealer to fix. The symptoms lead me to believe it was the VCT's which ford wasn't going to fix.. Trust me, I tried another dealer and my buddy there told me they didn't want to do it because they didn't know.... He knows the history of the car... and me voiding the warranty...

Anyway, car would start rough occasionally and when it did, it would kill the VVT and idle rough.. Ran like shit.. Then the next day, started up fine... Drove like a bat out of hell until I warm started it and it ran rough. took off the TB and verified the bypass was opening and closing properly.. Wasn't confident to remove valve covers and fix VCT's on my own....

So... we are now here and the Mustang is elsewhere..

Yessir on both points. The sig definitely needs an updating because I'll still be lurking around.

The Mustang (Snot Rocket) was fast as fuck and got constant attention because of the green, but it was also getting on my nerves after the engine replacement. Not to mention my 13 year old could no longer fit his 6'2, 200lb body in the backseat without craning his neck to one side.

I loved the Mustang but I knew I would always be back in a Corolla at some point. My last Corolla was a 2007 S that I beat the ever loving shit out of in the woods... Camping, etc... I took that car places where most trucks don't go.. Seriously.. Look up Roger's Trough Trailhead in the Superstition Mountains. I got a 1/4 of a mile away from the trailhead before my wife said "turn around" because we were NOT going any further. It took us 13 miles of "4x4 only" trails to get there. I loved that car but sold it to my sister as I started a family. It's still the ONLY car I've ever missed after getting rid of it. It kept going for 3 years and then got traded because it was wrecked too many times by family.

The GR is amazing. I busted out consistent 16 second runs at the dragstrip the other night and it was the most fun I've had at the strip in probably two years. Yes, it's faster than I am. It's a 13.5 second car but I was babying the launch because I haven't driven a stick in a few years. It's got more in it, next time I go it will be better. My dragy was showing an 8 second 0-60 with a 2.5 second 60'... I have since learned how to launch it and have reduced it to consistent 5.5's for the 0-60.

Not that it's a drag strip monster, it's just a fun little car in general. Can't drive the Mustang like that on the street :)

Dude... I am staying in this thread to live my Roush 2650 dreams through you. Let's see what this can do on the strip! That's amazing! Are you still stock internals, etc? I assume you are but I may be wrong. I hit the lottery with mine... Twice... Been posting on this thread since the first few pages and have read them all but I probably forgot a lot in my old age. Keep it up.

Hello everyone, never really posted here. I don’t think anyways.. this is my first supercharged car I have owned turbocharged cars before .so I’m thinking on sending my blower to JOKER Performance, but I have a couple questions. I currently have a lethal Performance dual pump set up 1000 cc injectors. [Not installed]And the car is currently tuned on stock pulley for 93 By Palm Beach Dino on RTD. So I’m thinking on having that fuel system installed running E85. i’m not sure on what size pulley you guys seem to have work the best also, I see six rib and eight rib. Does that mean if I go with 8 rib I will have to change the crank pulley ? Also, I see an option to have the blower inlet ported is that even something worth it if I keep a stock throttle body ? If not, which one guys going with?

ps. Sorry if some of this is answered already honestly there’s like 800+ pages and I’m not too computer savvy on how to track down this information.
