When you run e85 the intercooler shortcomings are basically moot. I’m curious if he made that much (1040?) with the small Roush tb; I’m guessing not but I’m not going to watch 30 minutes of yt vids to find out. If running a big tb and e85 then it can make comparable power to any gt500, Odin, or edelbrock setup that uses the same rotors.
He has lots of videos with his build and times along with Dynos. I have followed him for awhile. Seems to be legit.

Looks like he's running ported blower, 103MM TB, 2.5 pulley.

I agree E-85 should be a moot point. PBD,Wengerd,Ortiz. All pull timing at 140...

Don't think I have seen anyone on a 18+ Roush get into the low 10's without E85. One of the guys around here tried but could never get it to launch properly. He ended up selling it.

Btw, just noticed you're in Michigan so close to me. What track was this at?

Hell... I can't even drive mine currently.. After being OFF the car for 2 years the cats and exhaust manifolds were put on engine 2 when I blew up the first engine. Got the car back in May and haven't driven it much because I was on a long summer break. Drove it end the of July and it set off a CEL..

Dealer told me Monday that both cats need to be replaced before they can diagnose the rest of the issues I've brought up... At least they warrantied them.

BTW. No need for an OBDII port on these cars for Ford to diagnose issues. They can pull it without plugging into your car at all. My car was sitting in service intake area and they knew when the CEL came on, went off. What time I went to work, went home, etc.

You got FordPass and your onboard modem setup?

Fordpass is. The onboard SIM card phones in anyway whether FordPass is activated or not according to my advisor. Fordpass is not a requirement.

While she was reading all of this off I was like... Don't share that information with my insurance company please (engine replaced via Mechanical Breakdown Coverage). I have never been coy about the abuse to Roush or the Dealer.. If they can see when a CEL goes on and off then I assume they can see all the runs over 100mph in Mexico. Unless it's all GPS connected! LOL.

The headers though... That was the warranty killer :p So much so that the new engine doesn't like the exhaust manifolds apparently..

I just wish that I was on the drag strip when the motor went out. At least then I would have known that I personally did it. It drove perfectly fine and wasn't abused for a week. Started it up leaving work one day and it had a CEL for misfires... That was almost 9 months ago now. It had 23,000 miles on it when it went in. It's had less than 700 miles put on it since May. I've put well over a 1,000 on my electric Segway kick scooter though..

Putting a larger TB on the 2018+ is a problem. Blower TB opening is 90mm. I tried to install a Soler 95MM TB. The unit will only bolt up clocked upside down. An then you can't shut the stock hood. Found out no one makes an overdrive balancer for the 2018+. VMP and Beef Cake said no one makes one. Thinking about buying a cowl hood and getting the blower ported this winter.

I got an older vette and first then I did was headers, off road X and straight pipe on my road to boost. My 2018 Mustang with a melted clogged cat was a good lesson.
