Got this message after filling up on 93. Not even beating on the car Roush phase 2 supercharger. I cleared it took it for a rip but did not go back on. Has anybody seen this message before

Cat clogging maybe or an o2 reading wrong? 🤷‍♂️

Hey all, firstly wow. I have just spent the last month reading all 753 pages and it has been awesome! I’m waiting on my phase 2 kit to arrive at the dealer for install and have picked up some knowledge. It’s helped keep the wait under conteol

I have a few questions I didn’t see answered here and wonder if anyone has any answers.
My car is a 300a and I have added the 8” sync 3 and digital dash. I read that the calibration from Roush is linked to the VIN. Is this going to be an issue with drive modes? Would I get a calibration that didn’t support them?
I did the aftermarket sync 3 upgrade after having the Roush tune and didn’t like the way it ran with the drive modes turned on. I’m sure it has to do with the Roush/stock/drive mode calibrations and the car’s original as built data not seeing eye to eye and probably could be corrected, but is it worth the trouble seeing that 95% of the time I drive in either N or S?

If it comes back take it to dealership and have the cat replaced. It falls under the extended federal emissions warranty. Cat inefficiency codes rarely get resolved with anything other than a new cat. The exception being if there is an exhaust leak near the cat.

Best 1/4 in the old car was 11.3. That was several tunes ago as well because I traded it in July of last year.

@Lads1719 actually owns my old car. It is tuned now. Sometime this fall we shall meet at the strip hopefully :)

(Maybe he would like to trade cars as well for a run!)
Hell yes! we‘ll make this happen. I’m hoping to get down there the 18th, I believe. Have you made a decision on your e85 setup yet? I was also told that I could run e85 with only a bap/injectors on this setup but I just don’t see that happening. I’m leaning toward the VMP plug and play and doing the install myself.

Thanks for the information on that!!!! I was contemplating adding the 8" screen to add drag mode. I am not surprised it wasn't a good experience. I could never get a good answer out of Hell Horse, Roush, or Ford when I asked if it would work.

I never did ask Roush if they could change the tune I received based on upgraded hardware in the car. They just said it "should" work. I didn't believe them.

I hate cats... I told my wife not to get a new one and low and behold.... I'm never gonna pass emissions now!

Our cat, Tawny, is offended by that remark!
