Some strong numbers on a 10spd auto on the Roush tune with long tube headers hitting the factory speed limiter at 6700 rpm. Wonder what it would lay down if it could rev out?

The question about tires has been raised a few times in this thread. Today I upgraded from the stock pilot sport 4s 275/40r19 to the same size in the nt555rII. I’m amazed by the difference! It dead-hooks in 3rd now, when it would almost never hook in 5th before. I haven’t tried 2nd yet.

Did you only replace the rears?

Yes, just rears. Firehawk 500’s up front. Had I known I was going this route at the time I would have done the g2’s up front.
I've always heard it's bad to mix and match.

Its not a good idea to mix bias ply tires and radial tires. People mix different brands (front to rear) all the time.

You would never put drag radials on the front though. The advantage of the g2s on the front is visually they match the 555r2 pretty closely by design.

Yeah a dealer by me quoted me $9624. I gave them a big ol nope. Lol. Found the phase 2 kit on Levittown Ford for $6600. Then around 10 hours of labor if the dealer does install.
Thank you!! Ordered it today, got it for $6841 shipped!

I wonder if the Phase 3 kit will be available to the public or just to Roush built cars?

That is an interesting question but considering how many Roush kits are sold through dealers and vendor networks, not drinking to them would be a way to quickly lose out on available profits. Hey, but we never know why some business decisions are made.....
