i has a feeling. I don’t think enough people notified them in the past. let them know that you believe it’s only on a10’s with 3.55 gears. At least that seems to be the way it is from reading this thread. Btw, you can manually shift. It’s a unacceptable and a pain but that does work

The problem with manually shifting it is that happens at 6600 rpm and that's way too early.

Really? On my cal it redlines. Just sits there redlined. I let off or shift but yeah it’s redlined. When I was phase 1 It would do it at times at about 128. Sometimes it would shift and other times it wouldn’t. 6600 is a huge problem.

The driver side cat was a full day. The passenger side cat was a 1/2 day. The biggest wait was the dealer getting the parts in. Both times the car was tied up 7-8 days due to parts shipment delays.
they notified me on the way home from work it was going to be a week. Same thing..
Had to order the cat

Yeah on the dyno it was hitting 123mph at 6600 rpm. I wasnt in the car I'm just looking at my dyno graph. I haven't actually paid attention to the rpm at 123mph but I will now. I just know it is 123mph that it stops. I have shifted at 120 to get past it.

It’s does have a weird hang at like 125mph but I usually do pulls in sport+ on the highway so I’m sure it’s something in the that particular Mode in the Roush tune.
I just realized you have had this issue for almost a year... The quote is from August of 2019.

The original phase 2 tune that I had shifted to 7th at around 122-123 without issue but it was at lower rpm that I liked....around 6700.

With my 27.4 inch tires, if the shift point was raised to 7300, I wouldn't need a shift to 7th in the quarter mile.

I know this thread is about the 18+ Roush tuned cars, but my 2017 RS3 was still in warranty, but I went ahead with VMP as Roush, "with much Respect for the company and what they do",
just did not offer what I was looking for.
So full speed ahead with VMP.
Very happy with the results, support, upgrade items, etc.

It is too bad that Roush can't seem to fix this 123 bug. The shifts are pretty darn good now.

I had taken a friend for a ride a couple of weeks ago before getting the new cal and he noticed how power was cut prior to the shifts resulting in a herky jerky experience.

I took him for another ride today. His response was "Holy Motherf**k, what did you do to this thing?" He thought it shifted 100% better but also seemed to pull harder.

I hope Roush is working on that damn 123 bug.

I had a 17 with the Roush Phase 2 and I got several upgrades done by VMP and a dyno tune from them and it ran flawlessly.

I agree Bruce, the new cal rocks
It shifts fast and tight and it’s better when your rolling as it seems to stay in better gear, when it downshifts under throttle it takes off.

I’m happy and I can’t see doing a custom tune now, hope my 3.15 geared car doesn’t have the 123 bug

2019 Mustang ROUSH Stage 3 Phase 2 - A10 - 3.55 gears
Yesterday I Today I was able to go over 123mph with no issues,
Just got the Phase 2 tune and now I got the 123mph bug. Speedo stops at 123, then after a few pumps of gas it went to 125. Then I ran out of road.

Not happy, $624 for the Phase 2 upgrade + $139 to flash the tune.

355 gears / Auto
Good News, I was able to go over 123mph today. Hope it continues. The overall driving with the new tune is 100% better than previous tune.
