Nice. I just picked up a new pair of 315/35/20 Nitto NT05s on ebay for $400 bucks. I'm currently on 305 Nitto NT555G2 and they are crap traction wise. The NT05s seem to have some good reviews and can't beat the price. Those Toyos in the size I want were around $900 for the pair.
They won't be too much better until you go with an R compound.... I have tried everything to get a streetable tire other than an R and they just won't hook....

TOYO PROXES R888Rs 285/35/19. Going to the track tomorrow night to see how well they work.

Toyo’s and nittos are pretty much same tire. Toyo is the parent company and the compound is basically the same on both.

R’s will give you more traction but they wear out quickly and are unusable below 40.

I heard Oz Tuning is releasing a LTR for the Roush 150 kit so maybe they’ll develop one for the Mustang?

His tune and this new LTR are suppose to really help the 18+ Roush 150 kits

So the questions are:

  • How many running Roush FI are stock?
  • How Many changed out the OPG/CS?
  • How many had engine failures --- OPG or CS?

Has anyone here ever heard of a Roush supercharged Mustang with the Roush tune having an engine issue? I haven't.

Roush blower with Roush tune. No on the opg. Had a cat failure. No warranty issues. No failures.

8k miles on the blower. Installed when the car had 3k

I have opg only because they threw them in for free. They aren't really needed until your start spinning it over 7,500. I have been unable to find one instance of the Roush tune blowing a motor. I've had a clutch, half shaft, and cat failure all of which were covered. Roush warranty paid for the half shaft and Ford actually warrantied my clutch (surprisingly). I've also had one of the pulleys go bad and a few other minor issues but I've not had to come out of pocket at all for anything including the LTR. Last I checked it was about $5,200 in parts/labor.

My 2015 ran for 50,000 miles with no issues and no OPG's. Multiple 10 second passes and 155 in the 1/2. I had initial tune problems, but Roush fixed me up..... then I went Lund.

My 2019 is at 13,000 miles with no issues other than a cat failure. No OPG's on this one either. No passes yet. This one is on a VMP tune currently.

Both cars spin to 7500.

How is the VMP tune? I daily mine about 12 miles total in town with stop and go traffic.

It's awesome. 3 times a week I drive 100 miles a day for a highway commute. On my way home I put 8 busses on another s550 w/exhaust....

I've yet to top mine out. Anyone know if the speed limiter is still in place with the Roush tune? I'm assuming it is.

I think so... I took a couple friends for a ride in Mexico and we hit 150 pretty damn quick.... I shut it down at 165 cause they were a bit scared...... the 2019 feels waaaaaay more solid at those speeds than the 2015 did....
