I only have experience with the 2.3 TVS, but i was thinking that if you have a 69mm on a 2.3 vs a 69mm on the 2.65, the 2.65 would see a significantly higher pressure in boost as it is a larger rotor pack and moving more air/fuel.
Since I believe both are being mentioned here.
A 69mm on the 2.3 would be equal to a 75mm ish on the 2.65??
I have just an 80 on my 2017 RS3, Roush Phase 2 and 91 octane needs a little Boostane.

The 80mm on my 16 P2 2300TVS sees about 10-12psi, right? Id very interested in dropping a pulley size or two.

Would anyone be kind enough to link to a decent pulley (69 or 75mm). I want to stay 6 rib, not changing the whole setup over to 8.

Would I need a tune amendment from Lund as well, or can the computer self adjust?

Thanks :)

I run a Grip-Tec pulley and make 15-19psi on 6-rib just fine.

When I was running a TVS 2.3L rotor pack, I ran a 72mm and was making 12.5-13psi through LT's. No belt slip either.

Do you run 93 or E85?

What sort of WHP are you seeing?

Thanks :)

I want to run a 69mm pulley on my Roush Phase 2 2016 mustang. Stock is a 6 rib pulley and 80mm.

For folks who run 69mm on these 2.3L TVS setups or who know about these setups, are you getting belt slips? Seen folks getting belt slips? If not, what's your setup to avoid belt slip?

Going to an 8 rib belt complete drive system just to be able to run 69mm seems a waste of money. Is 72mm pulley with 100mm idler the smallest pulley I can run with no belt slip?
What size belt did you end up running on this set up?

I honestly haven't had the car back yet since I made this post, however long ago that was. Engine has been with engine builder since earlier this year. I did end up purchasing a 69mm pulley with a 100mm idler which I now have laying around.

Dang it, trying to figure out if just running a smaller belt will be good with a 69mm, trying to help a buddy find out that info. But thanks!

Awesome, so for a stage 2 roush kit that idler should be a 90 mm right? If it hasn’t been changed anyway

Late reply but yes it would be 90mm by default from the stage 2 kit.
