Thanks to some awesome customer service from the Alex and the American Muscle team I got these babies in the mail on Thursday and today I had them installed. They came very well packaged and the black tips were flawless. I had them installed at C&D Autotech here in Wilmington but I was told they were surprisingly easy to get in place, he called me and told me he was done no more than 40mins after I left.

First impression "" these sound amazing! Loud yet still quiet when cruising and the tone is extremely deep even with the stock resonator still in place. I have an H pipe but honestly think it would be too loud for me if I install it and could cause drone. As of now there is no drone when maintaining any cruising speed. I would take video but it seriously sounds exactly like the video below and my microphone is not as good as theirs.

I was also surprised to find that there is a noticeable difference in acceleration with these in place of the stock mufflers, I would definitely say a few horses were gained. I would recommend these to anyone, especially since they are only $499

On a side note: I didn't realize the tips would stick out so much and I'm not sure if they would as much on a premium bumper, but the look is really growing on me. The black tips really help with all that yellow down there

Sounds great, but a clip of your actual car would be cool too.

Anyone (once comments get going) know what song that little clip at the beginning is from? Great groove. It sounds like it might be Down, but I'm not sure.

Quick update to this review. The exhaust has broken in and is louder than it was initially, however it miraculously still has no drone at cruising speeds and highway driving is pretty silent. As soon as you get on the accelerator it's loud as fu*k though.
