So I'm going to order another set of tires for the 350R. My procrastination has paid as it looks like the new Conti's have a better Tread fit for 11/11.5 wheels. This follows what Billy Johnson recommends in sizing performance tires. Hope this info helps others out.

The tread widths are as follows:

Extreme Contact Sport
305/30R19 = 10.9
325/30R19 = 11.8

Extreme Contact Sport 02
305/30R19 = 10.7
325/30R19 = 11.4

Another more general thread on the new tires, but I wanted to setup a GT350 specific thread based on sizing most of us run.

@dsiggi Yeah, that's my thread. The current ones are great, and I'll be getting the new ones here soon; I need tires anyways. No regrets running them, they handle anything I can throw at it. And they're arguably the best looking tire available. Contrary to popular blief, there is a world of tires out there besides a Michelin, 4S, LOL.

Those look great. How did I miss this at the Mountain Run?

How did I miss this at the Mountain Run? They do look great. I have a friend that works at Conti so he gets 40 percent off (its a dumb deal) at Tire Rack. It makes it a no brainer. How is the run in compared the carbons and cup 2s? I have a set of signature now and the Hankook Ventus V12 Eco2 that I pulled off another set of wheels the prior owner had. They are ok, but squishy at turn in. I dont expect exact feel by anymeans compared to the cup2 but a more instant steering response on these would be nice.

The Conti's square up really nice visually and part of me wishes that I would have gone back to the Conit's as opposed to trying the Yokohama Advan Apex v601 in 305/30/19 and 325/30/19 on my R spec wheels. The Yoke's seem a bit narrower and shorter than the Conti's and aren't as visually appealing. The tread pattern on the Yoke's are nice and the treadwear rating is a little softer than the Conti's at 280 vs 340. I might have out thought myself when making my las tire choice....lol

Dude, how could you not do that deal?!?! Hook a brotha up!!?!!

I was gonna do Supercar 3’s this time since I can get 25% GY through USAA, but there’s no 305/30 available anywhere, and no ETA on them either. No huge loss; I like my Conti’s.

They get 12 tires a year. Just find a buddy that works there...
