Get longer studs and use slip on spacers. It's not really that much of an effort, ARP studs are superior to any OEM ones and you'll have the same effect of wheel sitting flush in a much safer manner.You’re right. I just hate how much the wheels sit in the fender. I really just need to get a GT350 lol.
