I used blue tape (the no residue kind) on the stripes and Track Armour for my 150+ mile trip home from the dealership in picking up my 350 HE yesterday. The blue tape came off with no residue but the Track Armour left a lot of gummy film on my paint that I now have to remove. I don't recommend it. I put it on dry (and even stuck it to my fleece jacket a few times before install to weaken adhesion) and it was a cool day and I applied it in the shade, so it wasn't baked in the sun or anything. I removed it 5 hours after install. Stick with blue tape if you want to protect your paint before you get paint protection film. Good news is that lots of bugs were collected on the tape and film and not on the paint...and the tires sure do pick up every rock in the road. An amazing car!
