That car was sold yesterday so today I'll be picking up either a brand new PP or premium. Undecided as of now
Oh....get the PP.

The heck with your wife, let her eat cake, and drive her own car.:lol::lol:

It's not just the wheels.

The PP wheels should come with Pirelli P-Zero Summer Only High Performance tires, and they should be nitrogen filled. Green stem caps too. I think the proper tire sizes that they should be are listed on that window sticker.

Don't let them order or find a set of PP wheels and then put some shit tires in the wrong size on them. Or skip the nitrogen.

I think the nitrogen with green caps is a dealer add-on rather than factory fill. I know my special order 2015 PP from a road racer owned dealer didn't have this but my 2012 from a different dealership had it as a "mandatory extra charge" add-on with no real world value.

Haha she can drive stick just prefers not too. But as far as the premium I like the extra features such as remote start, navi and what not

Yeah, given that "regular" air is already 80% nitrogen, I also don't see any point in paying more for a nitrogen fill. I'd rather buy a nice pump and adjust pressure as needed.

S197 = drag car.
S550 = road racer / daily driver.
^ This.. 100%

Plus the S550 is more "Mustang" then the S197 IMHO.

Look at a 70 Mustang compare to the S550.. the 550 is the modern
version of the 70.

Did DR for 20 years.. 2nd year in it was a yawn fest.
Doing Road Racing now with my GT. Beyond fun.

Well from me over the Pond
I had a 09 S197 for 4 years, loved the car, took her overseas
Then I saw the S550 in the flesh, in the UK, the Black Shadow blew me away, then I saw the toys you can get on the US one, and got myself one of a very few CS in the UK.
Tech wise, comfort, wipes the floor with the S197, and so it should do, as its 6 years newer.
it also is a more of a sports car, then a muscle car as the S197 is.
The S550 sits lower
Am so pleased I made the change to the S550

Until they come out with a new affordable special edition that I like better than my Boss, I am staying with my Boss. I might be interested in a new Mach I or Bullitt in a few years.

You do realize the 2nd Gen coyote is superior to the BOSS in every way. ;)

Thanks for your input. I would love to get the 2017 but in my area the base model GT is still going for about $35k out the door. I'm trying to stay around the $25-28k range and there is 15-16s GT premiums for that price right now with around 10-25k miles. If I could get '17 for maybe $30k OTD I would do it
Here in AZ, there is a dealer called Rodeo Ford. They are a really good dealership. I just looked and they have some base GTs for right at $28k and right now. I got my 2016 there a year ago for $30k "out the door". Mine is a Base model with Automatic and 3.55 gears too. I did the leather interior myself for like $350 from Ebay.

Maybe, but it's NOT a Boss. I have seen one, in the past 4 years that was like mine. I see new gen Mustangs all over.....and like about 1 out of 100 that I see.

A Boss is rare, and a real head turner!

Well guys I ended up getting this beauty, I leaning towards the premium just because all of the features it has but didn't like that price tag. So I test drive the PP and was sold. Gotta love manual. Even the wife said it felt better then auto.

Great choice. Same as my 15 except mine is Ruby Red.

If I didn't want the new 10A automatic (far too many years of a manual transmission Mustang in traffic) and a few of the other things that the 18 301A package either includes or allows I wouldn't be planing on trading for an 18 GT PP 10A with 301A, MagneRide, and Nav this winter.

Standard AFAIK. Your dealership probably was just adding cost.
