Project -- NVH

NVH stands for noise, vibration, and harshness. I plan on adding all three to my GT

Why did I buy a GT?

I have been searching for a new daily driver for awhile. When the 2015 Mustang GT came out, I knew I had to have one. It fit all my needs. In late September of 2014 I placed an order for a GT with the following options:

-Competition Orange
-300A
-6-Speed manual
-Recaros
-Spoiler delete
-All Weather Mats

A few months later it arrived:

Next modifications were Forgestar F14s and 20% tint

One common problem with the S550 platform is the hood lifts when you reach high speeds. Another issue is rust forming on the hood. To solve these issues, I bought a Tiger Racing Carbon Fiber Hood from Cortex Racing/Chicane23. This is the only after market hood for the 2015+ Mustang that has been wind tunnel tested. I drive it in the rain with no issues. IAT temps have dropped and the dreaded issue of hood lift at speed is gone.
