a couple of months ago I had my hands on a 2016 Mustang GT premium with about 10K miles on it in almost perfect condition except a couple of 2 inch long scratches.

and finally I decided to get her modded

As for the name... it's to honer the first mustang I owned ... also, I am planing to get it wrapped or painted at some point to match the old color, bright Atlantic blue .

NONE

Near future plans

Here is photos for the headers from underneath the car, fitment was nice, was time consuming according the shop

Currently I am facing the code P0420 for the O2 sensors, Just ordered a big daddies spacers hopefully it will fix the issue.

the cervini chin is nice, aggressive look, not too low .

Hey hey ,

so here is some updates since last time I posted

O2 spacers added to solve the high 420 code

Airlift 3p kit purchased and installed and tweaking it atm to fix issues with the bushings

to fix the O2 spacers in the pipes I had to take 2 bolts off the transmission mount one by one and still short about 2mm so with some pulling on the pipes was able to rotate the spacers in place.

and here is some more photos for spacers

Cleared the codes and drove the car for about 1000 miles so far with no issues .

so I assume its gone hopefully , if they comeback i would add the mini cat to it.

I had the 3p kit for few months till I actually had time to get it fixed into the car

took it to a friend's garage who did many universal kits on multiple cars.

the next day he called me the car was ready-ish ...

all hoses passed inside the car under the carpet and panels

The trunk is not exactly done we had the airtank and compressor mounted on a wood plank for the mean time since I am planning on putting everything inside the wheel well

an issue I am facing now is the control arms bushings .

couple of weeks into the kit the driver rear side bushing gave up.
and couple of days ago the passenger side.

luckly I already ordered the BMR bushings and they come in pairs .

This is the lowest point as the tires already hitting the fender liners.

Another issue faced me when I wanted to do the aliment was the bolts placement and our small strut tower opening.

as you would not be able to reach it

after contacting Airlift seeking advice and with multiple email with Scott , such an amazing dude and helped me a lot..

I decided to cut the top of the tower.

and since it was the weekend and the garages are closed ... and I could not drive the car pulling left .

I decided to use my trusted Dremel and do the worst cutting job in history of cutting , but its big enough to reach the bolts..

and ofc I wont leave it like this ,... in a couple of days I am taking it to the workshop to get it cut in a clean way such as this post I found .

as for the next step (after fixing the holes and bushings).

will be ordering some endlinks and camber rear camber plates.

and after that probably some bigger wheels.

Wow your much braver then into cut the shock tower as such. But good looking project so far I like the direction your going. I must ask when you get the car alignment done. Post back how the car handles compared to stock. Especially at higher speeds. I’d be interested to know if this would make for a good daily driver.

hey man , thanks for the comment ,

as for the handling of the car , I would say its just as good if not slightly better than stock .

keep in mind that I cant give proper honest opinion at the moment since there is couple of issues and I am still figuring out the perfect air pressure for the bags.

for the mean time I am running 55 front and 80 in the back.

also keep in mind that this is quite high of a ride, but because of the conditions of the streets where I live , there are not exactly the perfect roads and there is alot of speed bumps.

but as far as having the car on a flat surface and flooring it with some corners I would say it's pretty much an improvement and should be much better once I get all the bugs fixed.

hope I answered your question , let me know if you need anything else. :)

so here is some updates

I had a leak in the driver rear side bag, it was simply the hose (manifold end) was not cut straight

had a big ass argument with my mechanic as I sent the car to him before and he was like ... no leak.. manifold is faulty, so I asked him to send the car back to me and I inspected my self , took me less than 5 minutes to fix lol.

The clinking sound from the back turned out to be multiple busted bushings ,

I am talking control arms , vertical links , upper camber arm , knuckle to toe link

so I ordered everything from CJponyparts and AmericanMuscle and waiting for delivery , ( except that the upper camber arm from BME is now out of stock ) after I ordered it , hopefully it will be restocked soon .

Also, I start hearing some popping noises from the front end of the car , also it seems that the car would struggle to rise till the pop and be free again. after inspection it seems the sound is coming from the bag , I think the bag is folding on it self maybe .

initial online reading suggest that this is normal , I did send the video to Airlift Performance .

here is the video.

The noise almost gone for about a day then came back with a little of rubbing noises now which I think it's the fender liner
Running the car on 50 front 80 rear

If I put some more pressure the rubbing is gone

Possible issues includes the shocks mounts or collars will try to check then soon ( also any suggestions is highly appreciated)

Also I noticed that one side Is lower than the other by about 1-2 cm so I'll take it to adjust the height soon

I did fix the horrible cut in the front and it looking clean now , and I installed the damping knobs , sat then to 7 clicks from soft side

Lastly some fan noises from passenger seat, took It to the dealer and they will be replacing the cooling fans in the seat under the warranty.

That's all for now

ok, after few dozens of email with Bag riders , CjPony and other members I am still trying to figure out the sounds.

one thing we noticed is the strut having one sound .. but not really like the others

no leaks or dents so we are trying to get a better look into it to make sure its not defective . since I had them on for less than a 300 miles so far .

we will put a go pro down there and try to record the sound and hopefully see what's happening while driving .
