I have a genII Coyote crate motor in my 66 with a Stage 2 procharger kit. I'm swapping out to an HD/green belt and when I took the idler pulley off it has rubbed pretty significantly on the factory idler pulley. From what I can tell, I had it correctly installed.
I did remember when I originally put the kit on, when tightening that pulley down, it would bind up with the factory pulley so I backed off the bolt a tad. Is it supposed to spin independently from the other belt/pulley?
Am I missing a spacer, washer, etc..

No worries at all. In the meantime I'll give procharger tech a call today too.

I don't have the stage 2 bracket but did you forget a shim or something? Looks like that to me.

Edit: never mind. It's rubbing on the outside.

I think you either have the wrong stock idle pulley or its turned around the wrong way.

Thats interesting, my idler pulley is metal. It's a Ford Crate motor, I wonder if that came with a different one than an S550.
I talked to Procharger and they are sending me out a new idler shaft to be safe, but I think I need to look at grabbing a idler pulley locally and seeing how that fits.
