I set out with one goal going into TX2K and that was to make the Elite 16. Ended up qualifying #12 out of the roughly 125 entires in the street car class. Keep in mind this is a true street car with radio, heat, A/C, power steering, etc… weighing in at close to #3800. The Procharger F1a-94 made huge power on the dyno and it has translated into a best of 7.80 and 181mph on only its 3rd track appearance. Who says a centri street blower can't run with the big boys!

What do you have your suspension set at? Rebound and stuff.

I do have Viking shocks/coil overs on this car and the settings very depending on the track and conditions.
Car is currently down. I think I busted the oil pump gears but waiting to finish tearing it down.

I am struggling to get it to hook around the 1000 HP range. Running a 2 step/transbrake taking off at around 3100 RPMS @ 3.5 PSI of boost. Shifts into second and either breaks completely loose once the boost kicks in fully or get some wheel hop and have to let out.

Running BMR drag springs/chassis lockout and viking crusaders.

Do you take off in first or do the 2nd gear take off and slap it into drive?

That's A10 problems. He has a Turbo 400.

Mine is a th400 so I leave in 1st. When I had a 10spd Rob at PBD had me set up with a second gear leave, 1st is to short. I also ran a Circle D N/A converter because you need it to flash up quick to get into the power. The boost converter it tighter more for a PD blower.

not familiar with building one of these as a strip car, why go with the TH400 over the A10? was under impression a built A10 could handle this level of power/abuse. if you wanted to minimize shifts, why not set the programming to only 3-4 specific gears at specific RPMs?

I was originally registered with my 2020 GT00 and they didn't get the info changed whe i swapped cars and classes. That being said I did make 1100hp at 7k rpms...
I did notice the 2020 was still on the ticket. I figured nothing was updated.

The 10r80 is great however at higher horsepower they just don’t hold up. I think that with more R&D they will be better in the future but for now they just don’t cut it.
