Hey Guys,

I have a Stage 2 Procharger kit on my 2016 GT.
At sustained high RPM's, I'm getting some serious oil spray out of the Race Valve.
Currently I have the UPR procharger oil catch can setup, and within 2 hot laps on track the can is completely filled, and begins to mist out of the race valve.
As you can imagine it gets a little messy.

Anyone else experiencing this?

You can see the red Race Valve, and how the inlet tube is covered in oil.

Yep...but not with the red race valve just the regular proflow valve. I had the UPRR can as well and it was catching oil but not everything. Switched out to a breather set-up and never had another issue.

Better question is if your filling up a catchcan in two laps and overflowing to the fender u need to figure out why all that oil is blowing by.That seems like alot of oil in a short period of time.

Might be prudent to do a compression check.

Id say you stop beating on it until you figure where the oil is coming from. Either rings are damaged or blower seals are shot and you're running a dry blower.

blower oil is checked before each event, and no issues holding oil.

When you say no issues holding oil. Are you talking about your motor or the blower?

You are getting it appears a shit ton of blowby from your actual motor.

I meant holding oil in the blower. Thought you asked if I checked for oil in the blower.

Oil Between holes on dipstick when full hot?
If no other issues, might be crank windage thru oil level too high.
Yes, right in the middle.
I check fluids between every session.

Did you find the issue. I had some blowby from the red BOV, but installed the UPR catch can and seemed to fix the issue. I also cleaned some of the tubing as it was coated with oil on the inside.

With that much engine oil being sprayed out.... its pretty tell tale :(

You most likely have a cracked middle ring land on at least 1 piston.

Long pulls and stock ring gaps = death to the middle ring land.

The engines will still make good power, most don't even notice an issue.
BUT, pressure gets past the broke parts of the piston and into the crankcase. :(

These motors have VERY tight ring gaps stock. (emissions motor)
So when you replace the slugs, just open up the gaps and they live long happy lives.

He is exactly right.. I would go ahead and start on repairing. It’s only going to get worse. May even scar one of the cylinders.
