Anyone running this combo could you please share your insight with me? And does it require me to remove my front sway bar? I'm hoping not or I need to look at other options.

TIA

I think ‘engine power’ on Netflix have done some Procharger installs.

I can’t recall them removing the sway bar.

Only have to remove front sway bar if using the optional crank support that Procharger offers.

As stated, sway bar removal not necessary unless running stg2 with crank support. If on stock engine, id run p1x. If on built engine and want to let your nuts hang out, then D1x.

My P1X stage 2 will be installed soon. If your goals are under 1,000HP, P1X is better. Over 1,000 get the D1X.

D1X would be like swatting mosquitos with a hammer for street use, but you can certainly use it.

The P1X is an outstanding street blower.

The front sway bars only are required to be removed if you are running a procharger crank support. The d1x is al arge headunit on a stock motor, the P1x would be a good option. Hit me up with your goals and we can get you dialed in for sure

I don't really see a point in going a p1x vs d1x, might as well go up a size in case you want to get a little more out of it.

I'm building a street and HPDE car and I still chose the D1x. I'm keeping the 3:73's and that blower power range is perfect for all around fun. When or if I get around to T56 swapping it, it'll be even more fun on the track and tame on the street.

Always start with the biggest blower you think you'll need. No sense in buying small and wishing you had more. ..obviously this only applies to the "aspirational" type of people who are never satisfied with just enough.

P1X is perfect for a street strip stock motor car. Can take you deep into the 9s maybe 8s if you put in the work and have seat time.

Under 1khp, p1x is the answer. Many "say" they may want more later. Be realistic with budget, what you actually want and if that is over 1khp then d1x.

Thank You for your input gents. I'm building a motor that's why I wanted a D1X. I've had the Novi 2000 and the YSI and a few others but have never thought about a Procharger kit till now. I hope I'm making the right choice and time will tell. I like the mounting on the drivers side. Looks cleaner to me.
