got my pro charger on finally. I plan on running 10 psi for now. I want a wicked sounding valve though. I want the fighter jet on a runway sound. I see most of those guys are running the big red open valve. how are you guys mouting that and can it be used with the mak intake? i also saw a pro charger pro surge open bullet valve. it looks similar to the big red just tad smaller, any one running that one? I thought of going wastegate setup but am trying to keep this project relatively simple and cheap.

Tial BOV mounted on the cold pipe before the intercooler  Extremely loud.

I believe the Race valve can be used with the MAK inlet if you put a dent into it to make room for the valve.

This setup is so loud. Sounds like a jet. Tial BOV and wastegate by PSIproformance

Same setup as cpelaez1 with Turbosmart instead of Tial.

Good videos with some slight revs and light acceleration.

Killer setups guys. Where did you get the pipe to add the Tial BOV? Also, do you just weld the wastegate to the IC and send it, or do you have to adjust it? I would love to do this but I don't know where to start. Any input would be really appreciated.

Thanks

The new Race Valve location from Procharger will work with our Inlet.

Another option is the Turbosmart Raceport, its a real nice option. The raceport is compact so its easy to fit almost anywhere.

PSI Proformance in PA made the pipe and welded the flange on the intercooler. They are local so I brought my parts in for them to modify, but you could mail your IC to them as well.

They advertize their traditional setup shown here: http://www.psiproformance.com/blog/?tag=procharger
However Lund advised me not to move the MAF, so Travis at PSI was more than happy to work with me (and cplaez1) to tailor it to what we and Lund wanted. Ended up putting the wastegate on the driver side intercooler end tank and putting the BOV on the hot pipe to the intercooler. Worked great.

Is that stainless steel line coming out the top of your d1 some kind of filter?and if so what does it do?
It's just plastic tube that goes to a small breather. It's supposed to be a breather for the head unit gearbox. There was some talk on other forums about the Procharger seals going bad and this kit is supposed to relieve the pressure inside to combat that. After I had the issues with my catch can overflowing into the procharger inlet I disconnected it as it made it a pain in the ass to check oil level and it's questionable if it really does anything. I may reconnect it, not sure yet lol.

I didn’t hear they relocated it. Where to? The front bumper?

I think he said to on top of the blower discharge pipe. Sits between discharge pipe and radiator cover.
