to me a gt track pack with recaro should under 42k is ok. More than that and I will be looking at a c7 vettee for 56k a with sport pack and magnetic suspension and odds are by then u can get a deal on a vette and the stang will be msrp or more.

As usual we will get dragged over the coals on price. A £20,000 car being sold for around £40,000 is my guess. With dealers going on about shipping costs etc bumping the price up. I am Australian & have lived in Scotland for the past 7 years and still don't see how car prices here are so ridiculously high.

Chevy brought the Camaro SS, and in Germany for example cost 39900€, but in Spain 45000€.

But Chevy has not the distribution and presence of Ford in Europe. If you compare the similar models here and USA (Focus, Fiesta, Ford Escape/Kuga...) the prices are not too high, a 28000$ car could cost 30000€.

Does anyone know if the X-plan has a bigger or smaller effect the more options you choose? I know you only save a little bit on base models. I'm curious as to the effect on heavily optioned (PP, Electronics, etc.)

The sticker on my '13 GT was $40,800 or so and xplan got me about $2k off when a plain GT Premium the xplan was about $1600 off. I know on the glass roof alone the xplan saved $200, so just depends on the options.
