What’s the price on the new C8Z?
The rumors are around $90k, but the reality is the waitlist is already like 2 years long, so if you can find one at a dealer expect a hefty ADM. I predict it will be the gold standard for performance/value for the foreseeable future.

with ADM and options, 150k won't be uncommon for at least the first years. and yeah expect to wait 2 to 4 years.

I honestly wish Ford would produce a mid engine two-seater, Pantera-esque, and use the downsized Voodoo to 4.5L, change the crank to a traditional FPC arrangement, dual intakes and add a manual transaxle. I’d wait in line on a very cold rainy, Covid-threatened day for that.

I get the dollar to dollar comparison, but the reality is if those bidding on that car wanted a C8, they’d buy one. I can absolutely appreciate the Corvette, but the Gt350’s just have so much more appeal to me. The Gt350’s bring a very special reaction from people that love cars when they see one.

I'll bet it goes for $80-90k because BaT and HEP. Really though paying that much for a regular 350 with miles on it is crazy; that's brand new C8 Z06 money.

Yea but then who's gonna spend $500k on a GT?

My honest opinion is that anyone who is paying $90k for the car in question will also buy the C8Z06. Whoever these people are they have crazy money to burn.

Not to at all dunk on the GT350 because I think they are wonderful, but if you think the GT350 gets a special reaction, try driving a C8 Z06 around. That is going to be a huge crowd pleaser

Sorry, I don’t have any interest. I think the C8’s ughly in most colors stock. As for the 90k, let me know when anyone gets a ZO6 one for that. That won’t happen any time soon. Just because some one has 90k to spend on a car doesn‘t mean they have crazy money to burn. Just look at this forum with 350’s and 500’s. The vast majority are normal people, and not those with crazy car collections.

I can definitely attest to having my GT350 next to a friends C8 at a car show and more people were in awe of the C8 vs the GT350 easily. That being said I love my Shelby.
