In pic 58, VIN doesn't seem to match up with what is listed above, right?
John, the VIN listed on the Bumper Quality Label is for a 2018 GT350 with the vehicle being sold is a 2017 GT350R.

With the 2017 chassis number being "HR865" this is obviously a late 2017 model and suggest that the VIN shown on the Bumper Quality Label is for an early 2018 Pre-Production vehicle based on the VIN series.

Very interesting. Do you think that sticker was originally on that particular car or did it somehow get transferred over accidentally by a dealership or owner from a different car?

Hard to say exactly what happened here but when it comes down to whether the FRAP messed up versus a dealership transferring this 2018 document onto a 2017 R model I certainly lean towards the FRAP messing up with respect to attaching this decal to the wrong vehicle.

We got two BASE GT350R's live on BaT right now!

23 mile wrapper base. Wow.

Avalanche Gray (1 of 6) plus a base model.... but with an engine replacement. Should be interesting to see how much this goes for.

Would like to note that NEITHER car posting mentions the base model (or radio/AC delete) in the description. In fact the Gray R says it comes with the SYNC touchscreen infotainment system, lmao. When are these guys going to catch up?
With respect to the 2017 Base R Model that has just 23 miles and still in the wrapper, where do you see the final OTD price coming in at? :inspect:

Looking at my records... we only have 1 Base GT350R that has been sold at auction this year. That was a 2016 car, also in white/blue and it sold for 93 big ones. I think it's fair to say this car should exceed that. My guess is $105k.... but it really should be higher than that. If 2020 wrapper cars are going for around 110k, then a base wrapper should be going for 120k +

It will certainly be interesting to see. Idk if the current market is in for an A/C, Nav delete car as much as the 2020’s which have more base tech. Will be interesting though.

Regarding the "wrapper" car; it also looks like the battery cover is missing, at least in the photos (for example #52). I assume it spent most of its life on a battery tender so that would make sense. Too bad they didn't think to put the cover back on for the pictures.

$89,775 for the 2016 Base R in the wrapper.

Certainly expected a lot more from this rare car. It appears at the moment, the 2020 model years are still the most desirable outside of a 2015.

Totally agree that this Base R was well bought and just as you I was quite surprised with the final OTD price.

This cool and late build 2017 Base R will get to sit right beside HR001 which was the very first Base R built back in February, 2017 and they will look outstanding sitting together.
