I didn’t see anyone talk about the result of the Leadfoot on BAT. If I missed it, I apologize.

$77k before sellers fees. I’d say that is a good showing for a higher mileage vehicle at 9k.

one lesson of your selling write 9k instead of 9,000. 😂

I think is a good example of driven R models which will become the market after the last of the zero mileage cars go away. I think we’ll see a shift to colors and options when that time comes to pass.

A 2018 about $8k over MSRP with those miles is pretty good imo.

The interesting thing is - Here on the forums, we're all ultra fans, so we know about most cars that go up for sale. For Rs, There just aren't that many, honestly. Yes, we know about the ones that are out there so it might seem like there are - but it feels like while some people are opportunistic sellers....there are a lot of people who just don't want to sell them because - what will you replace them with?

I’d like to think I wouldn’t bale but who am I kidding. If I grow tired of or have to go in another direction, I’d do The same. Difference is, mine will have many more miles on it.

I get where this guy is coming from. Still wanting to experience more out there. I was the same way. I went from a Fox body GT to LS1 SS to 12 Boss to 14 GT500 to 18 GT350R. Thing is, I am interested in what a C8 Z will bring but there is literally nothing else I'm interested in until that car comes out. And when it does, I may still not want to give my R up for it.

$95k new.....in late 2016....Whoa. I am glad he enjoyed it.
As you mentioned $95K plus taxes was a great deal of money for a 2017 R model back in 2016 despite how rare that he thought his color/stripe combination was as he was not even close as to the actual production numbers built in his AG color/stripe combination.

That aside I will suggest that down the road he may regret his decision to sell his cool R and totally get that as most of us have been down that road at some point.

As @stanglife mentioned earlier there were not that many R's built over the 6 model years (3,647) and that includes ~80 Pre-Production vehicles most of which were not available to the general public therefore there were a little over 3,500 cars that were available to the general public which equates to an average of just ~600 cars per year.

Unless any of you are in a position of having to sell your R for various personal reasons I would encourage everyone to all hang on to their R models for as long as possible and enjoy them as much as they can as we will never see the likes of these outstanding 2 seat GT350's ever again!

I sold one and bought another ;) While it's been fun to enjoy a bunch of cars in my life (more than the average guy...most people I know think I'm insane)...I think I'm approaching my max tolerance for what money I want to burn on this in my lifetime and starting to think about other things. That said, choosing something that is insanely enjoyable, unique and the best bargain out there for a drivers car as a "keeper" is a hard pill to swallow but made easier by the existence of this model ;)

I also have a Porsche 964 project which will hurt the pocketbook but I should also be able to get my money out of it later... that was is more about the journey than the destination :)

2020 Twisted Orange with Black Roof. Could be looking at a new benchmark here.
Agreed as what an outstanding color/roof combination!

With 703 R models built for the 2020 model year there are still many color/stripe/roof combinations to choose from with this combination being very desirable.

Thanks for posting and will watch for futher updates on this cool and fairly rare color combination.
