I wonder if that is in relation to last year? The prices look like they are inflecting downward after the odd shape induced by Covid.

The article said in comparison to last year. These were the top 10 but overall the number was 32.7%, or $7,583.

I still maintain that while the 350 is surely caught up in some of this - considering it's accolades - they woul dhave likely seen either a value increase or a reduced depreciation over this last year, regardless of covid.

Agreed.
This is exactly why I bought GT350 futures a year ago June. Well, one reason anyway.

Agreed and remember to always factor in there is a difference in the depreciation/appreciation arch of GT350 versus the GT350R, which I know you know, but I suspect many want to clump into the same column.

I agree to some extent (and also agree for the R even more), but it doesn't look like for the general GT350 that it is hugely different than market.

As always, this is only one source of data (CarGurus) so take everything with a grain of salt. But, the sports car data look very similar between GT350 and Corvette, for example.

The last plot is just the "overall" price index (across all vehicles)

Only a single entry for July, but it was a good one. This R was tracked hard and was modified including custom GT3 seats.... which I thought were pretty cool. Original seats came with the car. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2019-ford-mustang-shelby-gt350r-10/

We'll see what August brings. Hoping an R will pop up on the upcoming Mecum auction.

If purely to make a couple grand, I get it. Otherwise, the common thread among these cars is their low mileage. That means the original owners never really had an opportunity to enjoy the car. It sat wrapped. Seems more fun to buy bitcoin while driving and enjoying the car.

Nice find. Great spec. Very curious to see if this one approaches the 100k mark.

I didn't realize that site had a Doug's take section. Is that new or just on certain cars? Pretty cool.
Every car I click on Doug has comments.
This is a fairly new venture for Doug. I assume he’d put his all into it, at least in the beginning.

Just noticed that "F0077" is going to auction at RM in Auburn on Saturday, September 4th and it has just 59 miles on it.

Although it is not mentioned in the description quite yet, I believe that this car is still on the MSO and has never been titled.

This 2015 GT350 Shadow Black/Deep Impact Blue Track Pack car is a 1 of 1 for the 2015 model year and I remember ordering this car just like it was yesterday.

I kept this cool car until last summer and then sold it at auction and it had just 42 miles on it at the time.

It will be interesting to see where this car ends up especially when being offered as a "No Reserve" consignment.
