I was referring to how it was prepped, photographed and presented. Really pretty car.
Agreed that the photography was well done but presenting this 11,000 mile R model as bone stock is a stretch.

Nice to see after ~8 years of viewing the terrific Mustang6G forum that some things just don't change. :giggle:

I said exactly what is obvious. BaT must be slow. We are talking about a car listed at a dealership and the head BaT cheerleader is back here on M6G.

Welcome back (again) Harry.

And by the way, I think most would agree that PPF really wouldn't be considered a modification. If anything, it is a protection to keep the paint 100%. Ford's paint is very thin these days and is extremely susceptible to nicks and chips. I would think any buyer would welcome the PPF, being that a complete PPF runs about 8K these days when done by an exceptional installer.

Furthermore, the car is not being advertised "as delivered in the wrapper". The car has 11,000 miles. And to be honest, if it did not have the PPF, I would be extremely reluctant to consider it due to the wear and tear associated with sticky cup 2 tires and the resulting paint issues that go along with it.

So, I think the concern over an obvious enhancement that has helped keep that car in the condition it is in by far outweighs the (nitpicky) viewpoint that the car is not bone stock. The buyer, if they didn't want it, doesn't have to turn a single wrench to replace anything. PPF is removable.

Yep, BaT is a little slow these days I guess.

When I hear bone stock stated, I take it as no mechanical changes. The very minor cosmetic enhancements the owner made to suit there taste are just that. The car was enjoyed like it was meant to be and obviously very well taken care of. Atleast that’s how it appears by the photo’s.

Exactly along with the black hood insert and badging.

I couldn't agree more. I think Harry may be looking at this from a purist standpoint. As great as the car is, that kind of scrutiny will be a factor 20+ years down the road when rolling across the block or when on display at pebble beach.
