With 5 hours left to go it’s just getting started on BaT. The bidding continues indefinitely in the final stage. Plus there may be a reserve on this car. No one will be stealing it at $59K.
You can bet that the owner has a reserve on this vehicle and probably will end up as a no sale.

The grey looks incredibly mean in that picture. no wonder we all love these cars. Driving experience and sexy to boot. At risk of being a broken record... the drive, the look, the sound...only a few cars that tick all these boxes.

Bill, thanks for keeping us all in the loop with respect to what is happening to GT350/R pricing up in the Great White North.

When converting over the price for the 2018 R model in LFG shown above based on today's exchange rate the price for this car comes in at ~$103,500 USF.

Is that a realistic price based on the present market place up in the GTA or are these guys out to lunch and just doing some fishing and looking for an easy catch?

I like the color a great deal but with this 2018 R already having ~2000 miles on it the price of $103,500 seems to be on the high side to me.

Hope that you already have your R model out and still enjoying it a great deal!!:fingerscrossed:

So Obama is the reason people are thin skinned, and lashing out saying all this on a thread about prices going up doesn’t count in your book as “people just lash out at every little thing and are so quick to point fingers at everyone except themselves.”

So the NFL and NBA are racist because 90% of their players are black? So they draft based on race? Yah that’s not racist statement at all

I thought businessss were free to run themselves how they like? So if Mustang6G doesn’t like something who’s to tell them that’s is wrong, I mean unless as at it agrees with you—is that the rule?

To all of you: this is discussion about prices going up how the hell do guys get so offended to start writing this stuff and you know the common theme? You’re victims: “Obama is the reason”; “90% of the nba and nfl is black”; and “someone took my avatar”. Do what you say, get over it. Remember, you’re real men you don’t cry about it in forums where people are discussing vehicle prices.

unlike you guys, I’m not responding to anymore like this. Get back on topic or don’t write.
Obama wasn’t president in 2008

What a great looking car and appreciate you posting this very low mileage 2016 R model that comes in such a beautiful color/roof combination.

Not only is this a striking color combination of Race Red and a Black roof but it is 1 of only 14 cars produced in Race Red and coming with a Black roof for 2016.

The only concerns that I would have with this car is that the 3 year Bumper to Bumper warranty has expired and as we all know bumper sag was prevalent on the 2015 and 2016 cars therefore something to watch for as some miles get put on this car.

I also suggest that there is more than a year left on the 5 year powertrain therefore that is a good thing for the new owner.

Lastly, I would suggest that the polyurethane shipping blocks are still sitting in the front and rear springs of this vehicle therefore they need to be removed upon purchase.

Thanks for sharing this great opportunity for some lucky R model enthusiast!!

A lot of people are anti-red...reduces the numbers slightly....not even many 2020s in the wrapper at this point so it's a little unique that way but mostly from the perspective of a new car. This car had MSRP at $67,500 MSRP on most 20s is about 77k so some people will consider this 16 as the same car and a bargain at below current msrp...measure the difference in actual resale due to depreciation of a 16 vs 20 and the differences between feature offerings in those years and come up with......

60-62k..depending on who is involved...but prob closer to $60k

R's have been going for slightly over MSRP on BaT. Considering this one is a rare spec with the black roof and is brand new, I think it may actually go into the high 70's or even 80.

This is the closest comp we have https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0121-455512/2016-ford-shelby-gt350r/

It sold for $73,700 in January and it did not have the black roof.

I'm inclined to go with 75K as this will go to a collector who probably won't plan to drive it either. It will be kept as a time capsule ala "Red Barchetta".
