press heated seat button, cooled seats come on?

anyone experience this issue yet?

I went to turn on the heated seats this morning (driver side), and when i pressed the button, the cooled seat came on (including the light indicator on the cold button). I press the heat button again and it cycles through the cold intensity levels, with the lights on the cool button lit up as if i was pressing that button instead.

I hit the cold button and nothing happens at all.

(passenger side seems to be working fine.)

Anyone experience this yet? I have an appointment for Wednesday but wanted to check here before I show up

Yes same thing happened to me. If you have the touch screen turn the heated seats on there and then the button should work

didnt even think to try that tbh. ill go give it a try now. The dealership told me they had to order some electrical module or something that sits behind the dash and they'd call me when it came in

This just happened to me this last week. I'm going to give that LCD touch screen tip to see if it fixes it. If not then I'll go get the module put in that was referenced earlier.

worked for me as well, forgot to come back and update the thread.

and btw the dealership never actually called me when they got the part in ... typical Ford dealership customer service for this area..

thanks again for the tip and hopefully this thread can help some people avoid the "wtf is going on" moment a few of us have had w this..
