Beautiful car!

I bought H0012 a year ago in February, the car was involved in some sort of minor accident, I assume from hydroplaning, destroyed all of the carbon wheels, broke the splitter off and cracked the front bumper. I have since repaired the car with all OEM parts and just acquired a set of mint carbon wheels, so itā€™s just about back to its former glory. New member of the forums, looking forward to being a part of the community. Here are a couple shots of the car currently.

The car had 10,870 on it when It was delivered to me, it currently has just over 12,000. Itā€™s been great, itā€™s barely used a quarter quart of oil in over 1k miles.

Dp pre production cars have anything that are possibly NOT on the final production cars or changed from production?
No. They are built after the TT cars just prior to the general production vehicles.

It threw me off at first that the car had a chassis badge of H0012 and not something denoting HRXXX, but I ran the Marti report and it says itā€™s an R and was a ā€œFord Fleet vehicleā€ Iā€™d love to know more about what it did, Iā€™ve called Ford and they donā€™t really have any records. It would be cool to know more. This car will most likely stay with me forever, Iā€™m a diehard Ford/Mustang/Shelby guy, and itā€™s such a great car, I canā€™t imagine a scenario Iā€™d sell it.

So was H0012 a Copart Shelby and does it ride on a salvage title? If not salvage was it close to a total loss claim due to the expense of the needed original parts for repair?

The car does have a salvage title on paper, from the cost of the wheels, splitter, bumper and it popped the seat air bags, the car fax references, ā€œminor accident reportedā€ and that it went over a median, but structurally the car was untouched, Iā€™ve basically bought a new OEM bumper cover that I had painted, OEM stripes and a new OEM splitter and undertray, had the seats fixed and sewed up, and of course the big ticket item was the wheels. And youā€™d never tell. The cost of the wheels and seats and all of that was over $40k+ to repair through insurance, buying everything at list price through Ford.

Would a TT car command a buying premium? Or worse, because they were a test run of the new year production?

They are extremely rare. There were 2 2020 GT350R TT cars that got out. I would have bought one, but I didn't have any room to put it. I'll see if I can find the thread.

Usually PP cars are much more available than a TT car. Usually the TT cars are destroyed. They are used to test and sample the manufacturing process on much smaller assembly lines. They are then used to evaluate and test the platform and are usually distributed to Ford engineers for analysis. Case in point, the GT 500s after they were assembled on the TT run were seen all around the Detroit area as Ford employees were testing and evaluating. I believe some were used at various press events as well. They usually never make it out for sale to the public.

Again, they are very rare and they would be extremely collectable right now, especially in this market.

Edit:
Here is the thread I was thinking of. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/chassis-code.147344/

No photos and the carfax is no longer valid.
