I got the same set up for $800 from Shelby new I have 3.55 gears.
That's great - but larger diameter tire is going to make your gearing taller (lower your effective ratio compared to what it was on a stock tire) regardless of what gear is differential loaded with.

:) Do you see a difference between wheel and tire diameter ? Rear tire diameter (stock) on the car above is 27", rear tire diameter on stock PP1 is 27.7".
Wheel diameter is irrelevant within the range of tires that can be fit on it.

I see what you mean but I really like the PP1 wheels now.

Absolutely nothing wrong with them - I actually like the look. I was just pointing out that they will lower effective gear ratio, that's all.

They seem to be working out great so far. Hats off to Shelby America for all their parts help.

Yeah, I went from the stock 3.55 ('19/PP/A10) ratio to an effective ratio of 3.45 (running an aftermarket rear wheel with a 305/35-20). Didn't really have any significant seat time with the stock setup, hahaha, I took it for a 10 minute drove, then the dealer swapped wheels (the MRRs on the '16 I was trading).

Now with an E85 tune, it's probably working to my advantage :D

The only good thing about the very heavy, very hard to clean PP1 OEM wheels is that you can sell them for a decent buck and then use that money to buy some decent aftermarket flow formed wheels that weigh 21 lbs for a 19X11 wheel that will be far more useful for those who use their car on track.

We put sealer on the rims and the dirt washes right off.
