Has anyone gone from a 3:73 to a 3:31 with a Vortech or Procharger setup? Everyone on this form that has dropped down to a 3:31 has a Whipple. Looking from some feedback from my centrifugal guys. Thanks

Manual gen 2? Keep 3.73 unless you're a decent amount over 800 id stay with what you got. Buddy of mine went from 3.73 to 3.31 on his centrifugal when he had it and it was a negative result in his mind.

I'm NA with 3.73's and I can see the pairing to be nuts. But I have A10, not M6

Depends on power level. If you make enough power there isn't such thing as lack of torque with taller gears if you can spin sticky tires in 2nd or third gear at will at over 60 mph.

Yeah. I'm going with a aluminator 9:5:1 block I hoping to make 850hp to 900hp on E. 700 to 750 on 93. Ben Calimer stage 3. Transmission

With a 6 speed, I'd say 3.73. My A10 has 3.55's with a P1X 0n 14 psi and rips without any delay.

A pumpkin is a relatively cheap mod, except for labor. But you can swap to a 3.31 and keep the 3.73, if you don’t like it swap back. But I’d say don’t go below 3.55

I thought 3.73’s were worthless in my PP pro charger. Too much shifting at the track. Had to grab 5th before the traps. At a roll 3.31’s do nice as well. At least 60-105ish in 3rd gear. I’ve actually had traction control kick in sometimes around 80ish mph so I wouldn’t say it’s lacking in torque. And drivability I believe is better around town using just the first few gears. Personal preference nonetheless

I do mostly rolls but I'm going to take it to the track soon. I hear alot of people saying 3:73 suck at the track because u have to grab for 5th at the end of the track. Plus I feel like I'm dead once I get to 140 145mph car just. 6th gear is useless lol. I'm going to try 3:73 with a good tire first before I swap to a 3:31

I am running 3.73's with my setup and am happy to have the lower gearing, no issue.

I have 3.73 with my whipple. At first i hated it but i have grown to love the gobs and gobs of torque. First and second are fun to say the least. Third pulls like a scalded rat. I would keep the 3.73 with a centri. I ran a centri on my old car and went from 3.31 to 3.73 to get extra kick before it was into heavy boost.
