Hey guys! So I just watched this video regarding the BBQ tick.

The reason I bring this topic up, is because I used to have this bbq tick on my 16 GT PP and got a new long block. Dealer told me they found extra clearance on the crankshaft. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any input about it to prevent the tick and protect the engine?

Thanks!

I do not have experience with this, but I'm probably going to use ceratec preventatively if I get a new block. Could not find much info on the other additive, so wouldn't use it.

I was thinking of adding one third of ceratec bottle soon after if not immediately after block replacement. Ceratec says it is good for engine break in at website.
