got a bit of time in over the weekend at an SCCA autox/tracksprint event. Left a lot of time out there but more importantly got a bit more comfortable and had a blast. Another event next weekend!

How did the cup2s do? Iā€™ve heard they take too long to warm up for autocross.

My first 2 trips out were a little slick, it was overcast and mid-60s, I had driven 2 hours there but the car sat parked in the grass for about 45 minutes after tech, and then drove to grid and sat another 15-20 at idle. I felt they came up to temp ok, but I will be replacing them with a 200tw when needed for a couple reasons, probably the Falken 660. For reference I keep the pressures at 30psi cold, once on the highway they display 32-33. They were still at 31 starting and got up to 34-35 by the end of the session, I didnā€™t adjust them.

Wow. Just how tall are you ?
šŸ˜† i will say i wish the seat would go a bit lower, I have the Recaro down all the way and slightly back so I can slouch and still only it have about 1ā€ headroom with the helmet on, and Iā€™m only 5-9

That is exactly the tire that Iā€™m going to replace mine with when they are done for autocross. Great choice.

yeah, I have driven every iteration from the old 215 to the 615, and the 615K+on a variety of FWD and RWD cars, for how I drive I really like them and their predictability at the limit. Looking forward to getting back on a Falken.

Ordered the new rubber. Using a mobile tire company, Lugwrench Hero here in AZ. Going with the Mich PS4. In just 300 miles the CUP 2 fronts are tossing rocks and chipping paint down the sides.

Nothing real special here that hasn't been seen before - though there's not a ton of love for Race Red.

This is my second Mach 1, first was a set of twins with my Dad in 2004 (pictured at the end) that I put a ton of time, work, and cash into. Sold it and two weeks later, the new owner totaled it out after a supercharger install (and some other parts)

Here's N2777:

Okay and a couple of one of my old Mustangs since we're all here for a reason... I'm missing pics of so many that I have yet to scan in.

The Mach looks great, but Iā€™m a sucker for a clean Fox. That thing is gorgeous šŸ˜
