Nice! is it your own rub? did a brisket 10 hours at 275 also. What kind of smoker do you have?

That's looking good!!

Yes, my own rub. Equal parts sugar and salts, misc other stuff, and a package of cherry kool-aid.

Smoker is a Masterbuilt 560. Vertical charcoal chute and fire box on the side with a fan and temp controller. Works like an absolute champ.

Will do. Working on breakfast right now. Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy.

I'll shoot to after a bit.

People like walnuts sweet heart. Horrible, horrible, camaro loving people.
I put Walnuts in the mouth-wateringly delicious, soft with hint of crispy Snicker Doodles. You can mock my GT not being washed in 2 years, but do NOT poke fun at my baking!! :)

The two recipes I just looked at for snickerdoodles did not have walnuts so either you are, in fact, obsessed with big nuts, or I haven't done enough research.

you are correct Snicker Doodles are typically very plain. Walnuts are good for you. But it was more a case of I had leftover ground nuts from the Chocolate Chip cookie batch and wanted to use them. Plus they give a little fun texture surprise to the dining experience.

You know, I don't think I've ever made a decision based on whether something was good for me
so the selection of your better half was ignorance (at the time) of what was good for you? Or "sheer dumb luck"?

One for the Cookie Monster’s … lol

I know I haven’t baked this myself, but I couldn’t resist posting it - we took the kids to a local country park at weekend and it had a small outdoor artisan market, I couldn’t resist …

Let start by saying my wife got me this protein pancake mix a little while ago. Being what it is, it needs a lot of help to taste yummy. So I saw this TikTok where someone made a waffle, then put it on some pancake mix and cooked the one side, finished off by dipping it in French toast stuff and cooked that. Soooo I made some protein pancakes with some brown sugar in the mix. Then did the French toast part. Came out okay, best way to eat this protein mix so far lol. The syrup is a little something passed down from grand parents to parents to me, no clue how far it goes back. It’s just brown sugar and milk.

And here is is!! First attempt at @Mikthehun1 ’s pizza recipe. Topping are a little...soupy haha. And when it cools off, I can get one of the neighbor kids to play frisbee with it. Kidding. Gonna eat the heck out of this once it cools off. Next attempt will be tomorrow. Also, used the bbq instead of oven. Tomorrow is oven all the way.
