Man I'm gonna show you up soon. I'm planing more pork ribs, more beef ribs, turkeys, chickens, pork chops, bacon, pastrami, pulled pork, burnt ends, salo (food) ( , it went great!). ...all the damn things!

🤣

It looks great man! I do have all that planned, I'm not interested in competition.

Man, I had to change my diet last week due to an extremely bad blood lab. So now I feel very awake at work, mind is quick instead of groggy...I cut out all alcohol, anything carbonated, and I limit my sugar and carb intake.

So...

3am this morning my wife woke me up and threw that booty on me and then I couldn't go back to sleep. So instead of smoking another tomahawk for dinner, it became steak and eggs this morning for breakfast around 6am. I feel great, and it's been like this all week. I NEVER feel like this.

If the Doc tells me I have to cut out red meat though, it's gonna be war. I have to draw the line SOMEWHERE lol

Pics make the meat look real red and underdone but it's med-rare IRL...

Wish you lived nearby, we could throw down on the grill and bounce some ideas off each other!

Man, Kroger had whole briskets on sale for 99 cents/pound, I picked up 3 for me and 4 for my brother. If you've never made home made corned beef before, it's amazing!

Edit: This is one from last year...

The last bits of the en-suite dry wall framing came in handy :

So the kids could do some cooking :

Finished with a few sparklers - just because it’s bonfire weekend :

I've messed with tomatillos before and made some insane enchiladas. But the other night we went out to eat and they had a ribeye on the menu with tomatillos, chorizo, red bell pepper and feta. I never would have thought about tomatillo salsa on steak...but man it was phenomenal.

Tonight I tried my hand at it and it turned out equally good, if not better. I roasted and skint up some jalapeños and the rest of the red bell pepper for my sides. Wife made some oven roasted potatoes but I didn't have room on my plate!

Great work man. Looks excellent. I love the concept at work here, “if someone can do it, I can do it”. Nothing beats doing something your way without compromising for portions, cost, or any of things that sandbag dining out food. Bravo!
