The Mexican restaurants around here offer a “California” burrito and it’s just their usual offering with your choice of protein but with french fries in it. I like it texturally but it kinda dulls the flavor of a standard burrito imo. One of the greasy spoons I like has a monster breakfast burrito with tater tots in it, so this was my “what’s around the house” version of that.

...is that like a 'ghetto Burrito? ie used diaper........

Thanks! I fried it for some texture before chopping it and adding it to the mix. It turned out really well

Love the shrimp idea! We make spam and kimchi fried rice all the time. Some sweet shrimp would be a perfect addition.

Today's breakfast...hearty white, scrambled eggs in a little salted butter, sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, topped with deli American and bacon, then back in the pan to get a nice browning on the outside of the bread and melt the cheese. I like to give the bread an initial "bagel" toast to give the inside a little crunch also. I usually order bacon on the side too. Before I put the eggs in the butter, I let it start to brown just a little bit for that nutty flavor.

...I can eat anything I want.
Since Heart surgery, I've been taking a pill for reduced cholesterol.
Matter of fact, my GP told me to cut my pill in half because I don't
have any cholesterol to speak of. Both HDL & LDL are way low.
I eat foods to raise my cholesterol levels....................
