I'm curious about that onion. Please share.
Take a Vidalia onion, or any sweet onion, and hollow it out, almost like a pumpkin. Slice the inside vertically. Fill with with Jack Daniels. For a 4" onion, you'll need two shots worth. One for the onion and a test shot to make sure the whiskey is ok. Put the top back on the onion and wrap in foil. Gently set it in the smoker for a few hours. When it's nice and squishy, pull it out and unwrap it. Discard the top. It should pull apart just about lile pulled pork.

Delicious!

Lookin' fresh there. Did you bake on parchment paper?
yep. A lot easier to get them on and off the pizza stone using a pizza peel. Tried using semolina but got stuck too much. Parchment works perfect every time.

My vote is to hollow it out and use as a bread bowl for chili. I once ate at the little place on Fisherman's Wharf that did all bread bowls. It was amazing. More serving vessels need to be edible
I can do that. I have round bannetons for baking but that would be a big ass bread bowl. The bannetons are 10”.
