On a layover at DFW so we decided to hit up Pappadeaux. Anybody here love crawfish and dirty rice? The other is a shrimp and crawfish fondue.

We have a few locations in Atlanta, I didn't realize they had them further west. Good eating for sure!!On a layover at DFW so we decided to hit up Pappadeaux. Anybody here love crawfish and dirty rice? The other is a shrimp and crawfish fondue.
Now that's lookin right!!Home cooking at my wife’s Dads house.
Beautiful ribeyes on the grill. Twice baked potatos. Slow cooked cowboy beans with bacon, hamburger, pinto, kidney, baked beans and butter beans, chili powder, and more.
That's perfectly done!Made another steak and some eggs this morning. Seared again straight out the freezer, and then 300° at 25 minutes this time. Slightly underdone so I put it back in for 7 more minutes, which was too long
The cut open pic was before I threw it back in the oven.
But it was better today and the one yesterday wasn't bad at all. This is just way too easy.
Which one is hotter the brown or the red?Our oldest daughters birthday (15), and she wanted dads McMuffin’s for breakfast.
Toasted muffins, Cumberland sausage, cheese, egg, three with brown and one with red :
She also wanted a ‘real’ fruit cake, so our youngest (9) made her this (with a bit of help from mum with the knife) :

Hopefully I’m not missing a joke lol.Which one is hotter the brown or the red?
No joke my friend. I was just wondering. When you said they were two different colors or flavors I was just wondering.Hopefully I’m not missing a joke lol.
Defo the brown. Some are quite tangy and probably the two most common / most liked are HP and Daddies. In the past they were competing brands, but I think they are owned by the same company now, so either way the same manufacturer is winning.
I like both (even though I cone from a daddies upbringing), but our youngest defo favours the daddies variety (even though she wanted red this morning), so I buy daddies for home.
It’s a sign of a good cafe if they serve either of those with a full English breakfast, any other option stands a chance of spoiling the experience …
It’s almost a Marmite v Vegemite thing …

THAT looks and sounds SUPERB!It’s berry season. So I grabbed some blackberries and cream from local farms, and a few Madagascar vanilla beans. I used the vanilla beans and fresh cream to make a vanilla whipped cream. Folded that into some mascarpone. Made a blackberry compote. Served them layered and topped with more fresh blackberries, gold raspberries, and pistachio. A puff cracker on the side
