How do you like the Falkens? Ride quality okay for the grip levels?

I’ve only had them on a few days, so I can’t give a real commentary on them. Compared to the OEM 255/40 Pirelli A/S the sidewall is noticeably stiffer and turn in is much more immediate. No roll over feeling anymore, where you feel the sidewall compress and give way. Ride quality seems better overall including less noise, but I will say the A/S are shot at 23K miles and that could be a contributing factor.

Overall I chose these over the Indy 500s based mostly on Tire Rack reviews and my friends S197 experiences with Indys (very good but a little behind in wet and we get a lot of cold/wet days in spring and fall). Discount Tire Direct had a $100 discount on the Falken’s at time of purchase which helped too; they were 234/per normally.

• Ferrada CM1 anthracite/chrome 20 x10
• +40 offset
• 275/35/20 Nitto NT555 G2

No rubbing and no mods(cutting/spacers) needed. Drives great in all modes.

So I realize that SVE wheels are clones but they just nail it with pretty much every model they make! Relatively light, affordable, aggressive but not obnoxious backspacing, proper widths...you can’t go wrong. They’re generally lighter and cheaper than the originals while looking just as good and being plenty strong. I helped my pops pick out a set for his old GT500 and I just slapped a set onto my 2020 GT. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Also, LMR has been awesome. 0 complaints about their customer service.

What precautions do you need to take with UV? IIRC, bare CF breaks down in sunlight....
