new shoes for me today... Ferrada FR8-F7, 20x10/ET25 and 20x11/ET50; nice and flush w/o poke. i'm undecided on sticking with Matte vs full gloss-black.

Looks fake because blurring out the rest of the image ;-). I thought it was a toy at first LOL

lol, it's not fake for sure :). it's a combination of the bright parking lot lighting, washed and waxed car (today), Samsung's obsession with taking saturated photos, excessive tire dressing (lol), and the bokoeh blurring. i basically dressed her up for pictures!

Hey All,

Recently joined & this is my first post in the forum. I have a 2016 GT (without the Brembo’s). I’ve been going thru this thread the last couple of days & have seen some really nice rides & cool wheel setups. I’m interested in getting a set of XXR 530D rims, that have a lip/deep dish look to them, but didn’t see any of those on this thread. I did see a few rides with the XXR 521 rims, which had the look I‘m going for, but don’t really like the double barrel look to the lip they have. Does anyone here have a similar setup with the XXR 530D rims? I want to go with a staggered set of 19‘s in the following sizes & offsets. Will the sizes shown below work & give me the Lip/deep dish look I’m looking for? Also, would they clear the stock calipers or would spacers be needed for the front? Would they poke outside the fenders or would they be flush with the fenders? Lastly, I’d like to have a square set up with the tires, but not sure what tire/size combo would be best. If anyone has any information on tire combo, or can let me know if the wheel size/setup would work, I’d greatly appreciate It. Thanks!

Front - 19 x 9 (+35 offset) 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern
Back - 19 x 10.5 (+20 offset) 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern

P.S. Attached are pics of the current wheels I have, which came with the car when I got it. Not sure what type of wheels they are, but I know the sizes are 20x9 (front) & 20x10 (back). I’ve also attached a pic of the XXR 530D I’m looking at.

that's a very bad choice of offset for the rear. you'll have poke like nobody's business.

Okay, thanks for the input. So what would be the correct offset needed for a 9x10.5 rear wheel? I've checked the XXR 530D rim options and the only offset offered for the 9x10.5 rear rim is the +20 offest. Since that rim type won't work, are there any other rim styles similar to the XXR 530D, that would work for the stance & look I'm trying to accomplish? Thanks in advacne!

I have the same wheels with Continental ECS 285 30 20 and 305 30 20. They look great. I just bought a Ford Performance track handling kit with 1” lowering springs but haven’t installed it yet because I’m worried that 1” drop is too much with those wheels and I’ll get rubbing or other issues. Did you have to do anything special to make yours work? Is there a chance I’ll have an issue?

Conti ECS have a less aggressive sidewall/fitment than Michelins. Also, the FRPP drops a little less than 1".
You will be fine.

I didn’t make any changes other than the lowering springs when I put the wheels and tires on. I had no rub front or rear. I imagine if I was tracking the car then the rear may have rubbed the fender lining when cornering, but no such issues with regular street driving. With you having 305/30 rear you really shouldn’t have a problem.

Since taking those photos I have made some suspension changes which raised the rear about 1/2”, but I did that mainly to even out the front and rear tire gap. Yours should be pretty even with the shorter rear tires.
