Hell no. We have tons of coyotes around here. They make a lot of racket at night.
Get a wolf. Had a friend back in the '80s who lived in the Alaska boonies for a while and had what he said was a 9x% grey wolf. Looked 100% to me but what do I know? I don't even remember why now, but he asked me to keep it for a while. We have LOTS of Coyotes where we live and they went from constant night howling to quiet as a mouse right after they realized he was here.

Returned him to my friend after he decided the yard was too small and he ate thru a wood gate one night, We didn't have any kids at the time but there was a school bus stop near our home. Neighbors knew we had this pseudo wolf mostly from conversations about where the coyotes have gone and so did their kids. One at the bus stop spotted him and screamed "Wolf" and all the kids scattered. The parents weren't too pleased with having to drive their kids to school that day. LoL

lol. I have big dogs. They don’t come close to the house. I’ve been around some wolf hybrids in the past. Very smart. They always seem to have a yearning in there eyes to be free. Beautiful animals.
