That's a really nice one. My dog loves hers.
Thanks Demon....her dad actually got it for her (he's Lola's formal owner)! we're just the grand dog parents but she lives with us. 😀

When looking at a car you can tell if it’s detailed Well! That’s a beautiful detailed dog! Pure white and brushed to perfection!
Thanks! Surprisingly, Pyrs’ coats are fairly easy to keep up, but they do need regular brushing to combat the non-stop shedding. Small price to pay to have a fluffy walking cloud in the house!

I first encountered one of these about 6 months ago, walked out of a cafe and there he was sitting next to his owners being completely chilled. Just a beautiful dog, gorgeous nature, loved a pat.
Mature Pyrs have a Zen-like calm disposition. They are quietly confident and love people and other animals. There’s not much you can do to train them - their instincts are drilled in from over 3,000 years of evolution (Pyrs are one of the few extent breeds that evolved into its modern form vs. being bred for traits). And to be honest they’re not the smartest dogs - our girl does some hysterically dumb stuff - but they are super sweet, loving, loyal, friendly, gentle giants. They are also immensely powerful and make for formidable guardians against pretty much anything.

Our girl demonstrated her prowess over the summer when someone tried to break in through our front door at 1am and was promptly greeted by 105lbs of angry, loud dog ready to defend. That person wisely chose to run away. If they hadn’t, I’d probably still be cleaning up the mess.

I was also gifted this beautiful painting of my little boy.........

IMG-6409.jpg

A family member had this commissioned for me, a delightful surprise that nearly had me in tears. The painting was modeled on a photo I took at a job one day, I looked up from what I was doing and there he was with his head poking out from behind the bushes, I managed to capture the memory with my phone before he moved.

It's been hung in a place where I will see it as I leave for work and when I return home. So, when the day comes that he won't meet me at the door, I will still get to see him for ever and ever.
