So I'm getting a little bit more serious about racing my GT with Performance Pack and am starting to look into a smaller wheel. I have read that the Enkei RPF1 in 18x10 will clear my 15" Brembos upfront. I'm planning on running a square setup with 285/xx/19 and am just working out the details.

Any advice?

I'm also going to end up selling my 2mo old 19" Forgestar CF5 as well.

Do you know if the RPF1 will clear the PP Brembos?

I am not certain I just test fitted a set of Volk TE37Sl wheels 3 weeks ago and confirmed they clear, been wanting to do the same with the RPF1 wheels also just havent had time to do it.

I'd love to get a set of TE37, but they're just too expensive.. I know you gotta pay to play, but I'm really only planning on running these at the track and +$2,100 wheels without tires is more than I really want to spend at the moment..:frusty:

I mean $2,000 compared to the what I spent on the 19" BBS LM for the M3 sounds like a steal, but that was before when I was reckless! LOL

Maybe I should just roll on the Forgestars for the remainder of the season on concentrate on a set of 18x10 TE come spring.

lol well I have a sale on BBS free shipping this month ironically and your mentioning LMS which are one of my faviorite wheels from them next to their FI wheels ( if only right).

I mean I would do the following rock the Forgestars you just got them 2 mnths ago and enjoy them, while doing that save up and grab a race setup 18" nexth season

FYI just did a 18x10 CF5 setup on ShawnOs GT PP and he paired it with 295/35/18 R888 for his rack regulations and its mean and affordable.

No arguing...the RPF1 is a good wheel. I know you stated the TE37 is out of your price range for your track set, but for what its worth our FF15 is right inline with Ray's on the quality/strength/weight front and they can be had for around $608 a wheel. 21 lbs for the 18x10 et40.

Here she is on our 380mm 6POT Brembo display. :D

Fitment on those looks pretty spot on. Might have to take a harder look at these when I burn through these stock tires.

18x10 RPF1 would not clear S197 Brembo's, which were a 4 pot 14" rotor. Chances of them clearing a 6 pot 15" rotor? Slim to none.

The Enkei's are an incredible value. Proven quality @ a very reasonable price. Too bad they don't fit for you.

Nothing wrong with the forgestars you already have though.
