I've heard Timkin bearings for these cars are not great.
Really? I read somewhere where someone recommended to spend the extra money and get the Timken bearings. I've had great luck with them on previous FWD cars. However those Timken bearings were either Japan or USA built.

Is there anybody with personal experience that can confirm?

Interesting concept. I've heard of this for drag racing but never on the open track. And I've been endurance racing for almost 20 years. I'll have to get the tires balanced before I do any bearings.

Between OPR and the tires moving on the wheels, Im 93% sure its just wheel balance, not a bad bearing, and yeah the tires do move on the wheel. Mark em before your next track day and see.
