Since I am switching to a Sniper Intake in the next few weeks, I took the intake off the car this weekend and noticed the usual lip within the throttle body. I decided to remove the lip and blend the transition. It may be a worthless mod, but it made me feel better removing that lip and maybe there will be a small gain.

I have read that the Sniper needs some port work on the entry while also the transitions to the cylinder head flanges which I will clean up before installation. If anything, the ported TB it will hopefully increase the throttle response. Also, searched and was unable to find any articles on this for the 2015+. But noticed eBay had a ported TB for 279.99. So there may be a few floating around.

Anyone have any feedback or results with one?

I have a ported stock TB. Maxbore did it for $170.00. Got rid of the lip, increased the diameter in the back, & redid the blade. It feels more responsive but that could be just me. Here are b4 & after pics!
