I have recently installed BMR shock mounts with Kelltrac “Ultra” spec Viking shocks. I have been chasing this noise which seems like something is obviously loose and starts the second I start driving and does not stop no matter how fast I am going, it also speeds up with more wheel speed. I have tightened everything on the shocks multiple times and cannot find what it is. It would make sense to me if it was on both sides of the car but I cannot figure out why it would be on the drivers side and not both.

It might be more pronounced on the driver side because the BMR mount bearing comes into contact with the fuel filler tube. It’s hard to tell which side is making noise unless someone is back there listening to each side. Other than that, you have multiple sources for clunking. Loose tolerance in the shock lower mount bearing, the BMR mount rod end bearing, and the Viking shocks themselves. I’ve had all those issues and finally got rid of that setup. Kelly just says they make little creaks and squeaks.

My son and I just finished locating and resolving a similar sound. It ended up being the springs not being pre-loaded and the shock length adjusted accordingly. Sadly enough, a "performance shop" installed the Pedders coil over kit, but apparently did not have the quality control priority as part of their business model.. Drop me a DM if you need more info, we chased these "noises" for what feels like 2-3 months.
