was joshing and not aimed at you, more so at the strong divide sometimes found around the views on the benefit/need for gears and failures etc.. especially on a near stock or stock failure like yours.

Did they take pics? wonder it if it was ran low on oil/any heat marks.

Hi @Grimreaper, no offense taken. 😊

The mechanic at the dealership took no photos but I can tell you that the shop changed the oil and 24 hours and 15 miles later, the dealership found that the oil was blackened and chock-full of metal shavings. Nobody said anything about the oil being low but the dealership mechanic wrote that oil pressure was very low (8-9 psi) at idle.

My OPG failed 2 weeks ago. The sad thing is I had some gears in my trunk for about a year that had never been installed. 🤣🤣🤣
