Please clarify — Is the Mach 1 a product from Ford Performance? Or designated as a regular Ford product? -Anyway, I ordered one.

Sorry for possibly a dumb question but I cannot find the answer anywhere on the internet.

The window sticker of my custom-ordered 2019 Shelby GT350 says “Ford Performance” on the upper left.

The window sticker of my custom-ordered 2019 Mustang GT Premium simply says “Ford.”

Is the Mach 1 a regular production Ford or is it a Ford Performance product?

My build:
- Iconic Silver
- 700A Equipment Group
- Auto Transmission
- Mach 1 Elite Package
- Navigation
- Leather Trimmed (regular/standard) Seats w/ Smoke Gray Accents

MSRP as Configured:
$58,995
Includes Destination and Gas Guzzler

$56,800 before Destination and Gas Guzzler Tax

The equivalent GT Premium Coupe with Performance Package 1 comes out to a grand total of $55,045 (Gas Guzzler Tax doesn’t apply; Performance Package 2 is not available with the automatic transmission).

It is a Mustang trim level, plain and simple. Ford Performance is a division of FoMoCo that deals in performance upgrades after the fact. They can be dealer installed at the time of purchase and the cost rolled into your financing if in fact, you financed the car.

Thank you for your answer, but your answer isn’t plain and simple.

Plainly, can you answer A or B?

A) It is not a designated Ford Performance product.

B) It is in fact a product from Ford Performance and it will say so on the window sticker, like the Shelby window sticker says.

No, it is not considered a Ford Performace vehicle.

Guys I can see the same things you can see on the web site.

Have you taken into consideration that the Ford web site doesn’t acknowledge 2021 Mustang models or the Mach 1 yet?

Not really looking for conjecture or debate here - just an answer from someone who knows for sure.

Then until you can see the window sticker of a delivered model, your question will go unanswered. The other alternative is to ask your regional zone office.

It is not a Ford Performance vehicle (which is BS IMO), but Ford Performance did assist in development according to Jim Owens

Yep, I recall Jim Owens mentioning this on one of the videos posted during the reveal.
