Place to safely test your car near London

Hi everyone

This week I will be picking up my new Mustang GT, which will be a big step in power compared to my current 1.5L Diesel car that I drive.

As I never driven anything this powerful before, I am considering taking the car out on a track or something simmilar, where I could get a better feel of the car and see how it behaves in different scenarios, without putting myself or anyone else in any danger.

Would anyone be able to suggest any suitable places & costs to do this sort of things?
I am based in London.

My honest opinion would be for you to first get to know the car before taking it to the track so then you can get an understanding off it.
