I have a 2018 GT Premium with factory 19 inch wheels and OEM P-Zeros. The car has about 10k and seems to tramline all over the road. I have had the car aligned and have dropped the tire pressure down with some improvement but it still nibbles on certain roads here in New England. The traction of the P-Zeros is pretty bad as stated by many owners. I am looking for some feedback on buying Michelin AS 3s which I have had on other cars but not in a 40 series profile. My car is running a square tire set up.

I'm going to assume you're referring to their newest iteration of the Pilot Sport all season, the A/S 3+.

I have these in 285/35R19 square. I have never once noticed any tramlining, and these Minnesota roads are nothing to write home about. I love them, and run them from around April to October. Very confidence inspiring rubber for a UHP A/S.

I'm moving to a 285/35/19 square set-up and plan on buying those tires shortly. They have very high ratings and should be good for 3 seasons in my opinion. They will still be poor for pure winter driving in snow and ice. There are always compromises. I run separate winter and all season tires on my cars that run year around.

I would take a hard look at the COnti DWS06 and the General Gmax. I like both a lot.

I am very impressed with the Michelin all seasons, great traction in dry cold pavement and decent in the snow. Amazing wet capabilities though due to the many channels. Not much tramlining even with 285s up front.

Rears I run 325s so may be why I get good dry traction, not sure what size you're going with.

Wow, those 325s are massive! I am running 255s all around and hoping to cut down on the tramlining that these 19s seem to struggle with.

something is wrong with your setup. Or you're driving over roads that are so heavily mis-shapen even bicycle tires would tramline.

Agree. No reason for 255s to tramline, as mentioned my 285s don't unless the roads are really bad or the alignment is way off.

I had them and to me they were ok. I wouldn’t buy another set due to road noise. It wasn’t bad, but louder.

It's those P-Zeros. When I bought my GT the deal included swapping the wheels and tires from the V6 I traded in. The service department was closed that day, though, so I drove with the stock wheels and tires for a day. I noticed the 235/50/18s wanted to tramline some, which surprised me. After my 275/40/19s went on the car it was gone.

My stock 235/50/18s are fine for daily driving and highway just a little skinny :) The AS3 and DWS06 are ranked the highest in all the reviews I have come across.
