Hey guys,

Figured I'd post this as I was browsing on Tirerack's website and saw a pretty good price on the OEM GT350R spec Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. They're regularly near $2K for the set, so pretty good deal.

EDIT:

For the GT350, the Super Sports as well, not sure on their regular price, but chances are these could be a good deal as matt referenced below:

I wonder how long it will stay at this price.

Screaming deal. It's a shame I already have a spare set of track tires.

Curious Justin, will you be transitioning to the new Pilot Supersports vs the Cup 2's when your current tires are done? I probably have a couple of thousand kms before I need to think about it but was wondering to transitioning to a more street biased tire.

I might have to pick these up...

Aren't Ford-spec R tires slightly different than standard Sport Cup 2s?

I was about to reply that I've seen these prices a month or so back - because they dropped a little back then to about $16xx a set...but then I saw that price you posted. Indeed a great price!

That actually makes sense. The PSC2 are a hair less than the PSSs...which seems fair considering how quickly they will wear.

I'm really on the fence. I was thinking that when I burned up the stock cup2 tires, I would go with a PSS or the new Pilot Sport 4+ tires. Seems like some of you guys are thinking the same.

I'm curious if they're the proper spec for the R. Has anyone verified?

States "Original Equipment" and is the tire that comes up with you specify GT350R.

What is the "proper" way to store a set of extra tires?
